Awesome 60's Yema Sous-Marine automatic diver.
Yema was founded in 1948 in Besançon, France by Henry Louis Belmont. Still around today, but not quite the power house brand of the 60's and 70's, this classic piece will make a great addition to any collection. Translated, Sous Marine means "underwater" or "submarine" and that's exactly what Yema produced in droves during their peak. This particular model is fascinating with its blue and black bezel inlaid into the crisp cushion case and blue matte fume dial. Block applied markers provide incredible depth to the dial, and the pronounced crown is perfectly sized and ridged for exceptional grip. Includes a new grey leather strap and the (possible) original black leather strap with Yema buckle. Keeping great time with solid amplitude, this watch should provide years of dedicated service.
