This circa 1988 Tudor Oyster Prince Date Day screams class. Not only is the piece in an exceptional state, but the rare linen dial almost ensures its collectability. Tudor has emerged as more than the red-headed step child to Rolex, they are a power house brand founded on durability, exact details and readability. This piece is no exception. At a glance, the silver linen dial with applied markers and baton hands makes telling time super easy. Add the black printed day and date complications and you have instant knowledge if you are late/early or completely missed that important meeting.

Tudor Date+Day Linen Dial
Written by John on Apr 4th 2018

I recently purchased the 1988 Tudor Oyster Prince Date+Day with Linen Dial from Dufrane Watches and couldn't be happier. Steven was a pleasure to work with and made sure the watch was delivered in a secure and timely fashion. The watch is in overall excellent condition and is keeping accurate time. Included with the watch was an additional black leather Rolex strap with Rolex tang clasp, which was a very unexpected but wonderful addition. The watch itself is something to behold with it's textured dial and radiant white gold bezel. All of the lume plots around the dial are intact and the hands still glow surprisingly bright after thirty years of existence. The bracelet is the traditional hallow-link and hallow end-link style that was common during the time period, but is still in good condition. Overall, I would not hesitate to purchase another watch from Steven and would certainly love to add one of his Dufrane design watches to my collection.
