I could not like this watch more. I have a collection of about 15 high quality watches and wear them all. I have a pool and already owned a high quality Swiss diver. This summer my other diver has been left in the box quite a bit. This watch with the blue face may be my new favorite.
Barton Springs 656 Diver
Inspired Men’s Dive Watch - New Release!
The Barton Springs 656 isn’t just another diver watch. This men’s diver watch is designed to be your everyday watch. The brushed stainless steel finish and finely polished chamfers and accents give the Barton Springs 656 a sturdy yet elegant feel. Featuring a Swiss automatic mechanical movement, it’s powered by the movement of your arm, and has a long lasting reserve time of 38 hours. A few vintage characteristics, like the drilled lugs and no crown guards, give this diver watch an extra element of distinction.
This dive watch isn’t just about the looks though. It’s practical for everyday life, but it’s also ready to take the plunge on your next SCUBA dive. A double-sealed screw-down crown keeps this watch watertight and resistant to water damage. As its name implies, the Barton Springs 656 diver watch can go to a depth of 656 feet and has a uni-directional rotating bezel for measuring the remaining air in your tank. SuperLumiNova pigment on the watch hands and oversized markers make for easy readability, day or night, even under water.
Personalize your Barton Springs 656 by choosing between two sunburst dial options, black and deep blue. The sunburst dial adds depth and character to the watch face with stunning light reflections. Both dials have an optional date window in the 3:00 position. In addition to the included tri-colored nylon NATO-styled strap, you can also choose an exclusive Barton Watch Bands silicone strap — available in Black, Navy Blue, or Black and Orange.
Not only is this a functional diving watch, it’s truly practical for everyday life. The domed sapphire crystal protects it from scratches and nicks. Anti-reflective coating eliminates glare from surrounding lights. The rotating bezel can be used daily as a cooking timer, or to track a game/movie. Multifaceted, this watch is made to endure all of the experiences life has to offer, and always keep you on time.

Where do I start. Purchased this watch to add a diver to my collection. I purchased the barton springs 656 with black date dial. The watch is utterly beautiful, from the dial design to the drilled lugs, the detail and quality on this piece means that instead of putting this watch into rotation in my collection, I haven't been able to take it off since it arrived. The Swiss movement inside has proven so far too be incredibly accurate as well, in fact more so than some of my much more expensive pieces. The watch was supplied with two straps! A very attractive nato strap and a slim comfortable silicone strap. I can't decide which one I prefer yet but I've had the silicone on more often so far. On a final note, the customer service I've received has been like nothing I've experienced from any other company, Steven (The Ceo) Was in constant contact about my order and accommodated my change of order with enthusiasm. I could not recommend this watch and also this fantastic company any higher. Many many thanks. Marcus.
This is a big beautiful piece of functional art. I absolutely love it. Wear it with joy and confidence.
I did not immediately fall in love with Dufrane Watches initial Bergstrom pilot watch. However, after seeing their 2nd release with the Barton Springs 656 Diver in person, I knew I had to give it a try. The stunning blue dial drew me in and the nice proportions, high legibility and strong lume put it over the top. A solid Sellitta swiss movement at a very reasonable price. A nice bonus was the extra silicon strap from Barton watch straps..... even has quick release spring bars to make changing very easy.
While I’ve only had the watch on my wrist for a few days - it’s a spectacular time piece - it’s my very first American made watch and the seventh to my collection. I love watches and am delighted to own this one. Well done Dufrane!
This watch is outstanding. I love the clean aesthetic, it seems striking and understated at the same time if that's possible. It has a satisfying heft to it, without feeling overpowering on my smaller wrist. The bezel has a high quality feel when I turn it, which matches the overall quality of the piece. Steven's customer service was exemplary. Very courteous, excellent communications, and everything happened when he said it would. I'm really pleased with the watch, but the overall experience of purchasing it was also the best. Looking forward to seeing what comes out next.
I absolutely love this watch. The NATO strap is super comfortable. The blue sunburst on the face really pops, especially in the sunlight and the glow lasts quite a while. This is a timepiece that I will hand down to my children.
Does not disappoint in person. The included bands are great. Very happy with my purchase.
The 656 caught my eye because of its striking beauty, enough to dwell on it long enough to want to find out more. It was a diver but wasn't a Tudor clone, it was elegant but possessed a rugged quality. So after getting over the initial shock of having to pay VAT on arrival in the UK, it was clear the 656 did not disappoint. The blue sunburst dial has a life of its own and appears a different shade on every glance. Due to having a larger wrist, I was concerned about the 42mm diameter being on the small side, but as the hour markers are laid out close to the circumference it appears larger than it is. The lume is amazing and fires up after only the slightest exposure to light. On setting the time, the crown has a reassuringly sturdy feel, as does that bezel which sits bang on the 12 mark, with 2 descreet white markers to indicate the home position. The bezel is striking by its minimalsim, .... almost Bauhaus like in its stripped down beauty. The Dufrane logo is subtly placed on the crown and buckle adding nice detail and the lugs are gracefully arced downward. Mine is #149 of this model, so know I'm in a pretty exclusive group....If you know, you know. A lot of watches that try to tick all the boxes end up missing the mark on many, the 656 is different.....it's not trying.
